And isn't it pretty damn hot there through October or so?

I think he's just taking media reports and the fact that Peyton lives down there. If his report really had any merit, you'd think that Schefter would have reported the same today.

Thanks for not answering my questions with another question.

:D

I seriously doubt it.

The guy probably has as much inside info as Dan Marino, probably less.

KC has had plenty of pretty mild winters. I wouldn't call it "a cold blizzardy winter" city.

It's been a crazy year here weather wise. We have had 65 degree days here lately. It was pretty warm all fall and winter.

Speaking of weather...

FWIW, on all this talk about Manning wanting to play in good weather...reader points out Feb. 05 Manning appearance on Letterman..(cont)

In 2005: "I'd rather play outdoors if I had my choice. It's kinda where football is supposed to be played." OK, 6 year old quote.

Readers tracking down 7 year old Manning quotes on Letterman....yeah, must be free agency.

Neither of us play football, but I think it's safe to say we'd trade Kansas City weather for Miami's.

Heck the day he lit is up in the playoffs it was 54 degrees. We were pissed because of what we thought would happen did happen because the weather was nice.

Miami weather isn't for football.

Sorry, but when I think of Chiefs football, I want there to be a nip in the air. Best fall football days.

Hell, some of the best times I've ever had at Arrowhead, I nearly froze to death.

Believe it or not, I'll be updating the Peyton Manning quest at 7ET on Total Access, and touching on some other big-name free agents as well

I don't have NFLN sooo....

O.city 03-08-2012 05:41 PM

I have it. I'll be all over it, just keep reminding me.

I'll pass on those days. I like the pre-November games at Arrowhead.
I went to the opener last year. The weather was the best part about that wretched game.
