Earl Thomas free lancing at free safety would free up a lot of problems.

Man we really should have found out in the scouting process that Eric Berry was cancer-prone

Why are we not expecting that he will be great for his whole career? He continues to improve even now. Why do we expect Mahomes to turn into a pumpkin after this season?

It's not about future expectations.

This season looks like the season, damn the seasons after this one. Don't care.

FFS nobody is beating him up on the cancer thing...

It's this mysterious "My heal hurts" bullshit.
What's next? Tooth Aches?

O.city 09-24-2018 03:09 PM

Well, I mean the dude beat cancer, came back from an acl tear and an achilles tear. I'd imagine if he's not playing he's pretty hurt.

So regardless of the scenario, pretty much puts him in the "injury prone" category.

I want to love Eric Berry like everyone else does, but until he can get on the field... sorry, I just can't.
It's not his Fault, I don't blame him... but it is what it is.

He's def injury prone.

But saying he's not really hurt? Yeah I don't really think that.

If Veach does it I’m on board.

We have this OL and weapons for 2 more years after this one.

Play our cards right and it could mean multiple shots at a SB.

Really do think they thought 2019/2020 were the best time to make a run and now they were surprised. Makes sense that they are talking to Seattle about Thomas.

My guess is they agree more with your philosophy than mine.

He mentions that the CHiefs have 2 2nds so I'd think that may be what they're offering? One of them?

GET

DONE!!;

We have Mahomes for the next 15 years. You are going to have retool the team 4 or 5 times in that window. Hell look at the Patriots with Brady, Donks with Elway, Packers with Rodgers.

We have potentially one of the greatest offenses of all time right now in 3 year window. Lets go win the damn thing this year. Go get Earl Thomas.

Well to be fair, *I* thought 2019/2020 was the best time to make a run and I'm surprised. 3 weeks ago, I wouldn't have been advocating this. But Mahomes is WAY ahead of where I thought he'd be. WAY ahead. And I just can't stomach the thought of wasting a magical season.
