Mizzou may never get this far again. For average MU fan, the Norm days are over. Great talent in portal days are not lookin at Mizzou

These are now the days gone by

Nothing at all to hang heads in shame. Looks like Mizzou got a mighty fine coach recruit some length and defense and play with anyone. Hand it to Princeton they did everything right and I hope they keep it going.

HS recruiting class is:

6-11 with 7-3 wingspan
6-9 wth 7 wingspan
6-5/220 power wing (Not sure on his wingspan, but he's built like a tank)
6-2 with 6-6 wingspan

They're also in the running on a 6-8 2024 kid who is considering a reclassification to 2023 who is lengthy and athletic.

They're going to be a lot longer and more athletic. Aidan Shaw will offer some of that, too.

Gates first big test will be if he can land Aaron Rowe. That's the first big in-state recruit coming up. 23 and 24 he can get a pass for no Missouri kids. Those are both dogshit recruiting talent wise in-state. There is like no talent in either cities. But Rowe in 25 will be the big one, he is a Como kid as well.

Shit game, great season, and a bright future. For the first time since the Suitcase era I’m excited about MU basketball. Didn’t think it was possible.

Still a great season, looking forward to next season.

They certainly appeared to be the better team. Missouri could really use a consistent shooter.

Princeton was not lucky in that game. They probably should have scored 100 points. That was a complete and total ass-whipping that was much worse than the score indicated. They completely dissected Mizzou on every offensive possession, and Mizzou could never break them down in the half court. They looked like a mid-level SOCON team on offense --no ball movement, forced threes, and they kept giving Princeton the single most efficient look in basketball on every possession--a wide open corner three.

Princeton played well, but Mizzou probably would have lost to anyone else who played today, including Furman. That was a heinous performance.

I never expected to make the tourney this year, but holy shit if we could have just showed up against Princeton and won, then we had a legit shot at an elite 8 appearance and only would have had to play a 10, 15, and a 6 to get there. That's a real kick in the nuts lol.
