Sigh...but didnt the Royals former owner and/or GM pay him ? Wish they'd just release him or something,he's just not good and its been proven year in/year out. I forget MLB contracts are pretty much guaranteed so i guess thats why he's still on the team.

Guess the question is do you want to eat 16 million this year or wait till next when its 9 million.

Or find another team with similar contract with a player not performing and see if they swap. Seeing if a change of scenery does both good.
