just something he threw out there to tell people how sure he was he was right.

he brought it up quite a few times and was so sure of himself he should at least say he was wrong.

I have no clue what idiot statements our resident blowhard made but if someone finds said statement it certainly might inspire some creative "mod abuse." ;)

I thought when we signed him he was average but he is better than a lot of the QB's in the league.. And he got us to the Playoffs so yes he needs a 5 year contract.. probably 10 million first year against the cap, 20 million for the remainder with 39 million guaranteed.. payable in the first 3 years.

Why would anyone wish for our QB to reduce his level of play to that of Geno? We already endured 4 years of Cassel. I don't want to relive that...

I made a thread about it at the beginning of the year, arguing Andy Reid may turn Smith into Rich Gannon, and he seems to have succeeded. Like Gannon, Smith IS a game manager but is so smart (and pretty athletic) that he's a game manager who not only doesn't lose games but wins them.
