****ing Motte :banghead:

Frazod 05-07-2010 07:39 PM

That was awesome. Molina cleans up Motte's mess.

x2. Ugly W but still a W.

And I guess Holliday atoned for his PATHETIC run-eliminating pseudo-slide by getting the hit that ultimately became the winning run.

Guess I won't make any more predictions. The offense on this team worries me alot. They leave way too many men on base and rely on the long ball for much of their scoring. Guess they mirror their hitting coach. Cue DJ's left nut to come on here and berate me for McGwire's awsome .286 average with RISP or that he only struck out 20 percent of official at bats in those situations or his unmatched 6 100-RBI seasons (it was 7 btw).

We were able to get away with it last night against a poor Pirates team. It killed us against the Phillies and will do so in the playoffs if not fixed.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-08-2010 07:08 PM

That was ****ing criminally stupid.

Have Holliday lead off the inning instead of with someone on, on which he has to leg it out, and then pull him once he gets OB.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-08-2010 07:10 PM

Oh, Jesus ****ing Christ.

Nice sac, Ryan.

****ing kill yourself.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-08-2010 07:13 PM

Our MI are a ****ing bag of dicks.

I wish we still had Todd and Perez if for nothing other than trade value. I'd love to be able to make a move for a guy like Dan Uggla, who should have a big Arb # coming up.

****, I'd love to make a move for Ty Wigginton at this point.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-08-2010 07:16 PM

GOD ****!!

Now the douchetard hits Ludwick on the hand.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-08-2010 07:19 PM

****.

BigRedChief 05-08-2010 07:39 PM

It's clear that our issue is the hitters are expanding the strike zone. Even Pujols. You can't blame that on McGuire.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-08-2010 07:53 PM

That pitch that Pujols K'd on was nasty. He generally presses in situations like this, though.

Our biggest problem isn't our hitters expanding the zone, it's the fact that we have 3 guaranteed outs every time pitchers go through the order, and it's nigh impossible to put together consistent offense like that.

Brendan Ryan is a defensive replacement masquerading as an everyday SS.

Skip Schumaker is a AAAA utility player.

Combine that with the fact that we have no threats from the bench, save for Felipe (and Stavinoha, I guess) and you have what you have.

This team cannot mount consistent offense until we get at least 1 WAR production from our middle infielders.
