If you put out feelers for a trade and don't get adequate compensation (a 1st), then you don't make the trade. Period. Peters has two more years on his rookie deal. You aren't going to get someone with a late 3rd round pick that is going to give you what he does on the field. This sucks more and more.

If they end up just getting a third rounder, thats not gonna be very ideal. You could have had him 2 more years and let him walk and got that.

Surely to god they got more than that.

My guess is probably not. If I had to guess....I'd say a 3rd and a 5th this year with a conditional pick next season.
