I can't believe Haley signed off on this shit. That is NOT confidence inspiring.

NUMBER7 04-26-2009 06:16 PM

We may have found a FB.

"Magee is versatile enough to line up inside in a four-man front or outside in a three-man front. He's arguably a better fit on the outside and he'll hold up against the run better there. Although he needs to develop his arsenal of pass-rush moves, Magee's capable of improving in that area. Finally, he has lined up at fullback in short-yardage situations in high school and could possibly do that in the NFL?. Complete analysis http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/...draftyear=2009

Like I said it's nice we have special teams players maybe we'll do something when we have some on offense and defense.

I think this is all completely purposeful- don't tell me (even you DIEHARD Chef's fans if the species still exists)... that watching them isn't the most darkly hilarious thing you have ever witnessed?

I finally understand it! Pioli is a master commedian and he'll be rupturing guts every Sunday for years.

It's so sad you would kill yourself if you didn't just laugh like a hyena on good ol' green Missouri meth.

I thought they'd be smart enough to take a couple of competent OL, I guess common sense is to much to ask sometimes.

Now you're advocating taking OL? I have been wanting that since the start of the off-season. We had the worst OL in the NFL last year but only added 1 player and Waters wants out.

FireAllTheBastids 04-26-2009 06:24 PM

I wonder what the holdovers from last season are honestly thinking about this draft.

Their relatives are probably sprinting around homes all over greater Johnson county removing rope and sharp objects.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-26-2009 06:24 PM

I'm ready to take a ****ing chainsaw to the Parcells tree. The adherence to the Walsh tree gives you shit like Morninwheg, Parcells gives you Crennel and Mangini, and Schottenheimer gives you ****ing Herm.

**** the ****ing trees.

When many of us sat here and talked about this being a very deep OL year and a weak defensive year what do you think it meant?

Alot if us wanted some OL just not with the 1st pick.

I realize that. You know we could have solved a majority of our OL via FA since there were some good players out there this year but they only added Goff.

Sounds like he's in line to be making picks for the Chiefs.

The ****ing Bears had a great draft.

Jarron Gilbert, Melton, Freeman, and DJ Moore are all going to be good players.

He wants more money, I heard he's basically a lock to go to ESPN as soon as his NFLN contract expires.

They do work the hell out of him on NFLN. I just thought it was funny that Mike Lombardi basically has taken his job in one of the most important information weekends.

He has great sources, but I think Michael Smith is the best info guy in the NFL now.

Like Mecca said his contract is coming up and he is not going to renew and is going to ESPN. So I guess instead of having ESPN talent on their channel they decided not to let him be on TV. In fact I read some where the other day he hasn't been on TV since early March.

Best drafts:

Eagles
Ravens
Packers
Panthers
Bears

BryanBusby 04-26-2009 07:37 PM

Best Draft:

Denver Broncos

Dealing away likely a high 2010 first round pick for a 2nd round CB and not addressing your D-Line at all is the best path to success. A++

Just on and on stating as fact that the draft was a disaster

Its like a SNL routine. Do you guys have a life? I mean really. NFL executives and media get paid to know all this stuff. You guys, if you know as much as you say you do, would really have to have no life at all. And it would be bad enough if you enjoyed it. But you sound so ****ing miserable. Truly pathetic.

Not sure if this has been posted yet:

Quinten Lawrence has tremendous speed, running a 4.38 40-time at the NFL combine. He also bench pressed 225 pounds 20 times, the same as defensive end Tyson Jackson, KC’s first-round pick.

Pats activate Jermaine Cunningham, waive Ron*Brace

The Patriots added some depth to several thin areas with a series of roster moves.

According to Field Yates of ESPNBoston.com, the Pats activated defensive end Jermaine Cunningham Saturday, after he served a four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy.

To make the roster spot for him, they waived defensive tackle Ron Brace, a former second-round pick who had a grand total of four tackles in 10 games this year.

They also promoted wide receiver Kamar Aiken and defensive back Malcolm Williams from the practice squad, addressing thin spots heading into tomorrow’s finale.

I remember Hamas being a fan of him. I don't remember where people wanted to draft him but he was considered a possible NTOTF by some here. .
