This game is so bad that it alters my view of Lawrence's long-term potential.

Truly great quarterbacks just never look like this. They look bad sometimes but they don't look scared.

Lawrence doesn't have it. Best case scenario is a Phillip Rivers career full of stat padding and losses in key moments.

Nothing really to suggest Lawrence would suck coming into the draft, he was elite in basically every way as a prospect. And he doesn’t suck really. He seems to have trouble dealing with the blitz, and he has a tendency to lay an egg some weeks. Just kind of puzzling.

Maybe he needs more than one year of Pederson to undo all the coaching he’s had so far in the pros
