I like you O's fan here and I know you don't want to hear this right now... but you need to be proud of the season you guys had. It was special. Beating C.C. in Yankee Stadium in a deciding game is too hard for anyone. Nothing to hang your heads about. I'd gladly trade you places even though it sucks in the end.

Congrats on the great season and being relevant again. I hope for that someday.

I just turned the game on - It's over?

Edit: Thhhhhhhhhhhhhhe Yankees Won - The Yankees Won!

Sweet.

Wow: CC went all the way and allowed just four hits ...

Respect to the Baltimore Orioles!

I was rooting hard for you guys. I'm disappointed too.

Thanks!

Congratulations to the Orioles on a great season!

Baltimore has a very tough team and a great manager. They will be back again next year.

If you need to be reminded why this team didnt get it done...

For the series:
Hardy .136
Jones .087
Davis .200
Wieters .150
Machado .125
Reynolds .158
Thome .083

No Oriole starter's ERA exceeded 1.60

I remember after '79, '82, '96, '97...I was a grumpy bastard. Now, it's OK. These guys went places no one imagined they could, and there's no shame in that- only pride. I'm gonna remember the 2012 O's forever, or right up to the day that dementia ****s me up good. Whichever comes first.

And if it happened here, it could happen in KC. I mean, how similar were these two clubs before lightning struck us?

This might not get that thread of the year nod, but it's the thread of mine. Thanks for it, even if it started as a goof.

If we sign a couple real starting pitchers this off season maybe we can meet you guys in the playoffs in the not too distant future. Here's to hoping...

Yankee pitching is really good. It's not an insult to your line up. Pitching usually wins in the post season.

Unbelievable pitching, especially considering who we played. Those guys were nails. It was obvious that jitters got the best of us. This season should get us some higher rated FAs this year hopefully we'll see Bundy next year. We have a lot to look forward to. Thanks O's for making september entertaining since I'm a Chiefs fan. Can't wait til next year.

What do you wanna see in 2013? Would love to sign Josh Hamilton

The O's found their best three starters under rocks in foreign lands: Japan, Mexico, and Colorado. Just a thought...

Deberg_1990 10-12-2012 06:48 PM

Sabathia is just nails in the postseason. Verlander vs. Sabathia should be epic.
