Just someone give me the straight dope. Are we looking tough or are we looking like schmucks?

It's training camp.. You're not going to have an idea of what is likely to happen with the team until the 3rd preseason game.

If that. We kicked ass last pre season and sucked dick the first 6 games.

ROFL oh for ****s sake. In what world is Denver dominant??? It took ELEVEN wins by less than a score and barely beating Eggo at home to squeak out a fluke division win. You Pat homers know jackshit about football.

A very good point. Just saying I look forward to the days in my older age when I will attend training camp until I'm dead. On paper we should have better WR depth, OL be solid and DL be beasting. So this true or am I crazy?

Not at all I'd also say the best RB group since 2004, best oline since 2003-2nd half of 2013.

I expect the secondary to struggle and the pass rush from our OLB to lack now and then until Houston comes back. I'll be happy going .500 til Houston comes back. That's literally all we have to do.

They've taken a shit football team and turned it into a legitimate championship contender. Unfortunately it's a weird !@#$ing game that ends in a single-elimination tournament where only 1 team can be the champion each year so the odds will always overwhelmingly favor the Chiefs not winning the title.

But man, the process that's gotten us here and the steps they've taken to build this team back up....it's just amazing to have sat back and watched them work. These guys know their shit.

And your point about the craziness of the playoffs is yet another reason to really like this approach by the organization. They aren't going for an "eggs in one basket" approach and that is going to ideally keep our window open longer and give us more chances.

Losing Sean Smith this year wasn't ideal for the upcoming season, but long-term it was probably the right decision. Those type of decisions are just going to have to keep happening to protect the future but play for the present at the same time.

We can't really know until we play someone else, full speed/contact.

Left guard Parker Ehinger left practice because of a foot injury. He was driven on a cart up the hill leading back to the indoor facility. Zach Fulton took his place on the first team. Receiver Albert Wilson left practice because of a calf injury. He walked up the hill as Rod Streater took his place with the first team at slot receiver. Daniel Sorensen did not practice because of a foot injury. He was replaced with the first string at safety alongside Ron Parker with Eric Murray and Stevie Brown.

I am all for being positive and expect them to be better but compared to the 03 line ? Slow down Nelley, that is severely overstating at this point. That 03 line of the Chiefs was ever bit as good as the infamous o-line in Dallas during the Larry Allen years and doesn't get near the credit.

I don't see where he stated the o-line is as good as 2003's, just that this line is better than 2004's - 2013.5's. That is quite possibly true.
