There wouldn't even be as much outrage as there was about OT rules after the Bills playoff game last year.

This is exactly why I don't give two shits about getting the 1 seed because of this.

****. Them. All.

Dude, relax. It's not going to happen. I give you my word.

That's the part I can't wrap my head around.

"This is bigger than football"

Ok, so you should be fine with the results of not playing. You're still in the playoffs. You still have a great shot.

Obviously this. The players decided not to continue, and clearly also decided not to play the game today or tomorrow. That's on them. Has exactly dick to do with us.

But if history has shown us anything, it's that Goodell is gigantic douche with unlimited power to **** shit up. So it wouldn't surprise me if it happens.

Gelatinous cube?

**** me

And by the way, the Bills were going to lose that game last night. It might have been 50/50 going in, but they were headed for 14-3 Benglas when the game stopped.

This..

we go from " it's all about the injured player so we aren't playing"

to what?

give us the #1 seed because it's now not all about their player?

If it it is all about their player and team then why should anyone but them be made to bear the responsibility?

Oh, I don't think it will either, but just playing it out in my head, I know that absolutely nobody would give a ****.

That's what really pisses me off.

Exactly why randomly making a game no contest for KC makes no sense. Land on the Jags game and they can rest starters this week. Land on the Vegas game and they are suddenly playing for a potential WC spot this weekend.

Also, how would it affect draft order? Take a loss away from the broncos and now you are screwing Seattle.

I would probably be more disappointed with Clark Hunt, Andy Reid, and perhaps the players for not stepping up and calling out the bullshit. They need to raise absolute holy hell about this if it happens. If a deck of cards has 81 Jacks compared to 19 Queens, it is NOT a random draw.

Rain Man 01-03-2023 09:50 PM

I heard that the NFL is considering selecting 11 random fans and playing a flag football tournament to determine the #1 seed.

I imagine the NFL is hesitant to say the teams refused to play because the NFL wants to look like the “good guy” that called off the game.

OR... agree to that stupid plan with the stipulation that we get the first pick in every round of the 2023 draft.

Last night is one thing. But the message from the NFL this morning made it sound like they were trying to get a game set up either tonight or tomorrow night. If the Bills wanted to get the game in, don't you think they would have?

You just know our random generated player/fans would all be Superfans.

Sounds as reasonable as random generating a loss.

Where's Phobia and wutamess when you need them, dammit?
