Some people seem thoroughly confused about strength of schedule to the point that it doesn't even matter who they're playing on any given week.

No wonder this place is so fickle.. it is all about the Ws and Ls, not for the sake of hindsight and it not mattering how they win, but because it really is that black and white.

Good correction. The best all around team we've played to date is San Diego. Denver is not a team, just a glass cannon with a horrible defense.

on the flip side for some strange reason Cassel is looking much better in purple... I'll tell you what, finding a good NFL QB is strange process. Cassel stinks in kc but as a 3rd string filler in minny he's all of a sudden a different QB. Watch him get another stupidly large contract from a few good games in a viking's uniform. I'll be lmao at whatever team has the idiocy to give him $8m a year to suck.

I've pretty much stopped as well. 11 wins (and counting) is impressive and he pretty much deserves our respect if at least through the end of the season.

You should have NEVER let him out of that bet.

Dude is STILL claiming that he hasn't been wrong.

FYI, ChiefsPlanet is extremely negative in tone, so you have to take what you read here with a grain of salt. This board is not even close to being representative of the fan base.

I think most fans are happy with Alex Smith at QB. Sure, he could be posting better numbers, but he's doing what is being asked of him which is leading the team to wins. He's definitely gotten better as the season went on and as the o-line got better.

A few of us, myself included, thought the price we paid was too high. I guess it's better to pay a premium to get what you want instead of not getting what you want.

The debate was mainly "Will we get the pre-Harbaugh era Alex Smith, or the one he's been the last several years?" I think that question has been answered pretty definitively, we've gotten the good Alex from recent years.

Whether he will prove to be good enough to get us to the Super Bowl in the coming years, who knows.

There were also many games that he looked good for us.

A good game or two does not a good QB make.

I wasn't sure he could handle passing as much as he had. He had a rough stretch at the beginning of the season that I just was like, I cant believe how terrible he is playing.

Now? Im not sure why anyone wouldn't want him as the qb.

He has been everything people said he couldn't be.

And with all the talk about how easy his passes were, no one wants to even acknowledge how great the pass down the LEFT SIDELINE to Bowe was, that Bowe didn't fight for, at all.

The Broncos should trade for him after PM retires, and find out for themselves.

this is true but it only takes one desperate GM or team to show Cassel the $.

Shrugs. Clay doesn't bother me as much as he does some.

And come on, we all know he wasn't leaving.

Getting him to surrender, was well worth it in my opinion.

He is about to post career highs in every statistical category.
We got him at the peak of his career to play on a team that was ready to win now. The haters have been completely punked.
The last straw they had to pull on was that he wouldn't be able to win without an elite D.
Well the D tanked and he stepped up to the plate.
We are in no way winning in spite of him as they claimed earlier in the year.
And at his age he has done nothing but improve since the day he was signed.

LMAO

We are 2-3 in the last 5 games, and in the two wins the defense was either in beast mode (Redskins) or forced 5 turnovers (Raiders).

Come ON man.

Let's wait for Alex to beat a good team first, before we crown that ass.

Correct, there are a handful of people who decided to be haters no matter what, and the haters are far louder per capita than everyone else.

I think the ones who are still left care more about being right on the internet than they do about whatever else

I guess him having to pony up 250 to Marcellus will be funny.

Gonna lose all his other bets too it looks like.
