More weak attempts to discredit a player who has completely exceeded your expectations.

I admit he's thrown a few more TD passes than I anticipated.

Other than that, he is EXACTLY what I expected. Is he even going to break the almighty 3,500 yard barrier?

You KNOW that's lying through your teeth.

For the season he has just 38 attempts over 20 yards...22nd.

He is not pushing it down the field. He never has and he never will.

You calling someone out for lying.

This place just keeps on giving.

Alex is basically doing his BEST 2010 Cassel impersonation, just fewer throws down the field.

Won't get fooled again.

I actually just read that somewhere. This thread I think. Didn't research it.

And yes the last 5 weeks has thrown downfield.
Care to show where he would rank?
He has thrown for nearly 300 yards 3 of the last 4 weeks. And was pulled early in the game in 2 of those.

You to have preface that if you also researched what the teams fans have said about their Defenses you'll know that they've been completely shit during this portion of the season.

You admit something that you publicly made a bet with someone on?

That's mighty big of you.

He needs 340 yards in 2 games to hit 3500. Shouldn't be an issue unless he is holding a clipboard in the 4th quarter.

No. I'm right. I thought he'd throw for about 3500 yards this year. That's what his pathetic self is capable of.

I hope you are making my $$ right now. I am thinking of buying a playoff ticket with it.

I can go see Alex Smith work his magic in the playoffs.

Basically on the same pace as Russel Wilson, joe Flacco, C Newton, Andrew Luck, And Kaepernick.

Only he has more TDs than ALL of them.

Alternatively he could've acknowledged that if that very same chart is sorted by downfield accuracy, Smith is 2nd in the league:

No, Alex Smith is not going to force a deep ball if he doesn't like what he sees. However, if he does, he's going to put it out there and it's likely going to be a pretty damn good throw.

Alternatively, he could go to the Eli Manning school of just throwing an interception every other drive.
