Only he has more TDs than ALL of them.

And he'll get a hair over 400 yards rushing.

The guy's going to have 4,000 yards of total offense with a 3-1 TD/INT ratio and a passer rating in the 90s and this clown is going to keep on bitching about him.

Alex is basically doing his BEST 2010 Cassel impersonation, just fewer throws down the field.

Won't get fooled again.

I blame your parents. Clearly they didn't pay an ounce of attention to you in your miserable life.

So according to you he's our "General on the Field"

Don't make me dig up your Pulitzer Prize winning WPI Cassel loving article

No. I'm right. I thought he'd throw for about 3500 yards this year. That's what his pathetic self is capable of.

For the butthurt...

It's probably going to end up being closer to 4:1.

It's attention seeking, nit-picking miserable bullshit.

"I didn't like the Alex Smith trade, so I'm going to make absurd points to try to make myself look better."

"He doesn't throw the ball down the field enough"

Like who the **** cares if a screen pass goes for 90 or if the threw the ball 50 yards down field?

Miserable ****s who crave attention, that's who.

The best excuse yet "Cassel threw for 27 touchdowns in 2010, yet sucked after, won't be burned like that again".

I had it at 4-1 but figured if he throws a couple of picks in the next two games (by no means impossible), that would likely knock it down and I didn't feel like listening to the caterwauling if it happened.

The guy has statistically been a virtual carbon copy of the player he was in the 50ish starts prior to coming to KC. "Well it was all Harba.....well he can't throw de.....well he can't put points on the boa....we'll blow it in the playoffs...."

**** me, the guy would've had to have been Peyton Manning to satisfy some people. And he's been a heck of a lot better than some of the folks those same people would've traded him for.

Can't wait till the playoffs to start, it will prove if Alex Smith isn't shit or not. Does he join Dawson, Montana, and DeBerg or is he Bono, Grbac, Green, Kenney, Cassel?

Any metric that puts Trent Green alongside Matt Cassel is a stupid metric.

It's also amazing that as the year has gone on, and they've gotten more comfortable in the offense, he's gotten better.

I mean, that can't happen, can it?

Sorry if playoffs wins are a stupid metric when its the only thing that really matters in pro sports.

Just like Eric fisher. No one ever gets better. You are what you are at the beginning and that's it

We cant win if he has to throw more than 22 passes a game. Not possible.

I think the general statement was he couldn't maintain his TD to INT ratio throwing more than 22 times a game. He was going to turn the ball over a lot and we were going to lose because of it.

Oops.
