ChiefsPlanet - Chiefs Alex Smith did, does, and will always suck.

I always get confused.

When the "he is 25-4-1, or whatever the hell it was as a starter" got brought up, it was always "can't use wins to justify QB play, it's a team game".

Now we're gonna use a single game win or loss, to determine what a guy is 1 year into his tenure in KC.

Seems legit.

No, Alex Smith is not going to force a deep ball if he doesn't like what he sees. However, if he does, he's going to put it out there and it's likely going to be a pretty damn good throw.

Alternatively, he could go to the Eli Manning school of just throwing an interception every other drive.

Given this table, it would appear Alex Smith is one of the most efficient down field passers in the league.

That's encouraging.

I also watched Matt Cassel light worlds on fire for a month or better in 2010. That isn't encouraging.
