One goal scored in soccer twice as rewarding as a TD or maybe 50 times more exciting than each cheapened point scored in Basketball. A true soccer fan watches every moment with anticipation and interest.

If they scored more goals in soccer, I'll bet some of these third-world countries would be less screwed up. It has to cause a lot of frustration to watch your team for an entire year and only see them score four times, three of which occurred while you went off to the bathroom.

Dude,

I lived down in Bournemouth for 2.5 years and went to London very often. There are always concerts to check out. It seems like the UK is much more receptive to new music than the USA is.

The food is great if you like Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Tapas. Having said that English breakfasts are great: eggs, sausage, bacon, baked beans, toast, tea/coffee. You won't go hungry.

The beer is awesome. Try London Pride, Badger, and anything that has an interesting name like Bishop's Finger (playfully known as Nun's Delight), Tangle Foot, True Glory, Old Speckled Hen, Old Thumper. You won't go thirsty.

The Underground is great. Try and make friends with some locals. They should be able to introduce you to places that we foreigners don't really know about like Blackheath, Hampstead Heath, Regent's Park (where the zoo is), Notting Hill. These are all places that have great nightlife. There are plenty of others that I am sure I never got to.

Basically, if get tired of London you have gotten tired of life.

Have a ball and enjoy the women. They know how to have fun.
