They can't because they rewarded Texas with a spot there. It's also the closest spot for Memphis to go to as the 2. Since they are higher, they'll get preference in the "pod" system...for now.

Kentucky loses to Vanderbilt to wrap up a 3 game losing streak that should finish off their tournament hopes.... I think they fell to 11 last week... they beat two 14-11 teams, and now they're back at 9?!?! The Kentucky homerism is really getting old.
