I'm sorry, did I miss Snyder on the sidelines last nihgt? You really are an unbelievable K-State hater...you can never admit that KSU might do something positive

I liked what I saw out of K-STate last night. I think Prince has ya'll on the right track, which pisses me off. That or Auburn is WAY overrated.

I couldn't beleive what i heard coming outta Lawrence...I figured KU would win a close battle of possibly lose a close battle. 52 points is impressive no matter who the opponent.

I'm not a hater. Just stating fact. K-State has had numerous football coaches. None of them could recruit to Manhattan except Snyder. I haven't seen any reasons to think Prince can.

your response had nothing to do with recruiting...Djay commented that Prince may have us on the right track...you replied with the inferrence that it was Snyder's players not Princes. Not that it matters, since I'm sure you used to bash Snyder's teams as well.

No, Snyder is the ONLY real coach you have ever had. Why does it piss you off that I state fact? Are you afraid I'm right? History suggests I am.

ROFL Ever hear anybody say?

"I like KU football and Kstate basketball"

Prince is still new enough I don't think it's fair to judge him. He has definitely had some issues on management style based on some things publicized and that I've heard from inside, but it may not be all bad.

He definitely has convinced our team that they can hang with anyone if they play well. He definitely has a mentality and style on many things nearly 180 degrees from the norm at KSU under Snyder. That has ruffled a lot of feathers.

Snyder's predecessors were all before my time, and there's no doubt that there were quite a few shitty coaches in the bunch. Not that that's unique to KSU.

mikeyis4dcats. 09-02-2007 09:18 AM

BTW, Snyder WAS a great coach, but I don't think a Snyder coached team plays as well as we did last night if Snyder was still coach.

How many of the juniors and seniors on the K-State roster are Junior College transfers that Prince recruited, though? I have no idea what the answer is, but they were talking up that issue quite a bit during the game last night... that Prince was finding gems from Jr. Colleges like Synder always did.

K-State looked tough last night. Say what you will about KU beating up on an also-ran from the MAC, K-State took a team ranked in the teens on the brink.

I guess KU's fifth game and first real game is KSU, so we'll see who comes out on top

when will the big 12 get a better television contract so i can watch KU Football on TV instead of listening on the radio

Not very likely for KU. The AD wants butts in the seats. Not a bad crowd 46,000+ last night when the temps are 90 degrees at game time and many of the out-of-town students are home on holiday break.

KU could potentially be 7-0 going into the Texas A&M game before they get whacked, haha. Glorious.

So far I have been way off. Kansas is better than I thought they'd be. No close games, all blow outs thus far. I understand that they have not played any difficult competition yet, but we are looking good.

Kansas 45
Toledo 13..and that is including a late meaningless TD from Toledo with all the hacks in

If KU can squeek out a win at K-State, it is very possible that KU will be 7-0 going into the A&M game.

The Big 12 TV situation got a bit better already, due to the programming hole left by the Big 10.

Of course, at the rate the Big 12 moves, they might have their own network by 2015.
