and still nothing to show for it Mr. Fax.

I would rather trade him to a nfc team for a 7th then a higher pick from the donks...

That's absolutely absurd.

You'd sacrifice helping your OWN team simply because you're scared you MIGHT be helping a division rival?

Absurd.

Yeah I would rather get a 7th and not help a division rival get better, and also a player that has been in off season camp with us most of the year and can give Denver any extra info on our team.. Then getting a 5-6round pick from the Donks..

If it was the Raiders I could care less, but the Donks have a better chance of beating us then the raider's do... Hypothetically if we lost both games to the Donks this year because of info and play gained from Wesley was a 5-6 round pick worth that???

Okay. Let's say that both an NFC team and the goats were interested. And, let's say that they were both offering the same value. And, let's say that you had just enjoyed a nice cup of strong coffee and a cold shower, too. Which team would you prefer to trade with, Mr. htismaqe?

That's that die-hard NFL wisdom that keeps hurting this football team.

Wesley couldn't tell the Broncos much about our defense let alone what Solari has under his sleeve.

Helping this organization should be our #1 priority.

1) Wesley isn't gonna make them better.

2) Who cares if they get better? This whole mentality of watching the rest of the division like hawks makes no sense to me. If the CHIEFS do their jobs right, it doesn't MATTER what the rest of the division does - we'll beat them.

3) The idea that players can be used as spies is overrated, especially when that player hasn't been to TC with us.

If both offers were equal, I'd deal with the NFC team.

However, that wasn't the scenario presented. Valiant said he'd take a 7th from an NFC team before he'd take a 5th from the Broncos.

Finally, somebody who gets it.

I know that wasn't Mr. Valiant's scenario, but I like my scenario better for the purpose of mutual understanding and world peace.

Now, please be so kind as to tell me why you would choose to deal with the NFC team, Mr. htismaqe, so that we might agree and I can get back to work on my giant, stone Priest head.

I would PREFER not to do business with a division rival. However, when ranking my preferences in order:

1) team is offering the highest draft pick
...
14) team is not in my division

Thank you. I rest my case.

But not my chisel.

You guys are spending WAY too much time on this... will I be thrilled at giving KC a pick for a player they don't appear to want?

No.

Can I control it? Nope.

Will I live with it and hear how Carl robbed Shanahan and then work feverishly to twist the trade into how it's the steal of the season? Enh, maybe. Depends on how creative I feel.

You really think Greg friggin Wesley is going to make all that of difference for the Donks?

If you want a 7th rounder for Wesley as opposed to a possible 5th? Then I must say that I a glad you don't run the team.

When was the last time the Chiefs traded within the division? It may have happened but I don't remember it. There must be a reason for that.
