10-6 with this team? ROFL
I will be excited if they go 6-10. The road to rebuilding is long and rough. You Mr. DT58HOF are in for a major disappointment. |
It is that time of year :thumb:

The truth is, I'm a hardcore douchebag... why the hell would you want to copy me? |
Let's just say that there is a 99.5% chance we will be somewhere in the top 10 in next years draft.

I do agree though, this won't be an easy game. One saving grace is we are playing them later in the season, so hopefully some of our rooks will be coming around by then. Also, the Bills aren't a high scoring team, so hopefully the Chokes could keep it close and get a turnover int he final minutes or something. Still, I like the Bills and think they will have a good season - we would be lucky to get a win. |
Really ... 10-6 in 2008? Interesting indeed.
Right now, the Chargers are the only team that is a safe bet to project a finish over .500 in this division. The Raiders might very well suck again, but they've had one hell of an offseason on defense and offense. If things work out with a few of those guys... they could reach 8 wins, maybe 9. I'd still project them to finish last though and battle it out with KC in the cellar. Denver... I'm not seeing 12 wins by any means at this point. I don't know if they'll get to 9 or 10. There are lots of question marks. Will Marshall be ready? Can Henry regain his form? Can Cutler properly manage his diabetes? Will the defensive line improve? Advancing to the playoffs would be a nice move for Denver, KC or Oakland and I just don't see a lot to get excited about with any of them right now. Don't get me wrong... I think Denver can have a good team, but if you're judging this on playoff success... I'll look at NE, IND, JAX, PIT, SD... 1-2 others and say those are the teams that will likely make the noise. |
I don't know how you can realistically predict 10-6.
You must be assuming that Brodie takes a huge step forward this year and proves to be a legitimate NFL QB? Because if he doesn't or if he regresses, it's another 4-12 baby. And I think you forget what a poor road team we typically are. I'd be thrilled with 8-8 because that would mean Brodie is on his way. |
6-10, with maybe a single preseason win.
|
This is the team that lost seven in a row, then cut starters, adding only rookies as replacements. Somebody is out of their mind if they think 10-6 wll be the record.
That being said, I sure hope Clark is thinking the same thing. |

Good catch. Then I give us a better chance to beat them, but it's not going to be cakewalk like some people seem to think. |
Road wins Falcons, Jets, Raiders and Bengals
most teams that win 4 road games usually make the playoffs. The Falcons and Raiders are not better than us! The Bengals were Chad Johnson and..... easy win to finish season The Jets played good late last year but i really don't think they are ever gonna be good. so if we can win 5 or 6 home games we will make the playoffs |
