Some people don't even know what they are suppose to be looking for.

Like the floating duck into triple coverage for a pick?

Whoops.

Here comes the excuse. Will it be:

a) It was towards the end of the half, it didn't matter

b) Well, sometimes you have to take a chance when you have shitty WR's

c) All of the above

Do you know what a NFL throw is....throwing to guys with 10 yards of separation isn't one.

I personally enjoy your posts because I knew before I ever read it was going to be out how the top QB prospect this year sucks and you don't want him.

To be fair, Huard IS in the NFL...

Mecca 10-06-2008 09:00 PM

Also Sam Bradford has thrown more picks than Stafford has this year and we all know that OU has sure been playing some dominant teams right?

No, I've never seen an NFL throw in my life.

Then why are you arguing with me about which QB makes them and which one doesn't?

He's the top QB prospect in ****ING OCTOBER.

If he's still the top prospect in late April, and there aren't 15 guys at other positions that hold better value than him, I'll be all for it.

Seriously, I thought you guys might have learned a lesson after last year. Getting attached to a QB 6 months before the draft is ****ing reeruned.

God forbid someone might grade out higher than the Almighty Matthew Stafford.

Lets go for the myopic pick of Michael Oher.

Another excellent rebuttal.

I don't think you actually disputed a single thing I've said. You just deflect to something else entirely.

What do you want me to rebut that you came into the thread to basically call everyone talking about Matt Stafford stupid? Or that you really aren't a fan of taking QB's because you think it will cripple are well already crippled franchise?

You've made enough posts about this for anyone that has read them to know what you think about drafting QB's high.

I'm sorry our team is awful, people want to talk about something and drafting a QB is high on that list.

Once again, you COMPLETELY miss everything I've said.

I didn't call anyone stupid for talking about Stafford.

I DID say that it's ****ing reeruned to hitch your wagon to a QB in OCTOBER, just because we NEED one.

Christ, we need a MLB too. And a RG. And a RT. And a shit-ton of DE's. I could continue.

If people want to get this worked up over a kid in October, by all means, go nuts. But you'd think people would have learned a lesson from doing the EXACT SAME THING over Brohm and Woodson this time last year. There's too much that can happen between now and April to sit here and say that we MUST take Player "X".

I'm going to laugh my balls off when Stafford isn't even the first QB taken in April...

Like I said: If late April rolls around and Stafford grades out worth a Top 5 pick, is available, and there isn't an obvious better player available when we pick, I'm all for it.

RustShack 10-06-2008 09:20 PM

It doesn't really matter if hes the first one taken, what matters is how he produces in the NFL.
