I think a monthly charge would create a sense of entitlement, but overall, moderation isn't a bad thing if it's in the right hands.

I've handed out 2 cards. 1 as a joke, the other for racism, or porn, or some such shit.

In all honesty, the infractions should be done away with, and they should add 2-4 mods to the picture.

Even with the infractions stopping Marlboro Chief from posting more than 7-8 times, it still took almost 20 minutes to get the posts deleted.

IMO, that's 19 minutes too long, especially when we're talking about porn.

There are enough level-headed people here that are around all the time - it wouldn't be that hard to add some depth to the mod roster.

Well, it's obvious the mods and the administrator are actively participating in this thread, so I guess it should be left to them.

I guess there is no changing your mind.

Just note that Kyle is the one who put this "program" into place. If it was a huge problem it wouldn't be there in the first place. I think you are over-reacting.

Trust me, I know. I've had numerous conversations with Morphius, Phil and Parker regarding what a shitty job it is.

But that doesn't change the fact that more are needed, and there are more than capable people that can handle the responsibilities.

No, it defaults to 3 and I just felt that was too small a sample size... I honsetly never messed with the settings until now
