That was a solid pick.

So milkman is up, what guard is going now? :)
|
Big Duke?:)
|
We'll probably hit a short lull in the action here, as Milk routinely works long hours with no computer access.
Great job getting 8 picks in less than 4 hours. I think we went 7 picks in the first 7 hours last year. |
If the draft fell this way, I wouldn't be surprised to see Green Bay pick Raji here, since they are also switching to the 3-4.
|
Oh, and I have class tonight from 6:30-10, so nothing will get updated during that time unless Mecca chooses to step in.
|
Packers, with the 9th selection in the 2009 draft select Duke Robin.........
Ur...uh...., I mean BJ Raji, NT, Boston College. Packers are transitioning to a 34 defense, and Raji will be the big ugly in the middle ancchoring the D. |

Damn...I wasn't expecting you to be in with your pick so fast. And then you go and draft the guy that I wanted.
|
This mock is a perfect example of a potential trade. I think the first two picks go QB, OT. There are 2 elite OT's in this draft, and the Seahawks are likely to take the second now that Crabtree isn't going to run. Cincy at 6 is desperate for a tackle and would be tempted to trade up. Or the Jags. Taking a player like Raji or Brown would be solid there.

Say the first two picks are OT's. If someone is looking for a specific QB, they are going to have to jump Seattle. I think Seattle would take Stafford to replace Hasselbeck in 2010 before they took an OT. |
If Stafford is on the board we could be getting a 1st plus someone's 1st next year.
That'd be our best chance. |
