Hah, I'm not sure how that's a problem?

Some may, but ours doesn't. You don't ignore the games just because others play differently.

what were you insinuating here? I was taking it that you would seed KU higher because of this correct?

I guess that just depends on if you value winning a conference championship, or a 4 game tournament more.

OU will get a higher seed. If the college basketball season was broken into its three parts, here is how the selection committee would rank them. #1 being most important for seeding:

1. Non-conference (body-of-work)
2. Conference play
3. Conference tournament

And the committee has also said that they value the last 12 games extremely highly, and they have a pretty shitty resume over that period of time.

It was simply a statement that if both resumes are similar and one team finished first in conference and the other finished third, would the tourny championship be enough to elevate them over the conference champs. I don't know the answer to that, which is why I said I would pretty much lump them in the same group as those other teams I mentioned.

However, if MU doesn't win tonight, I don't see any way they end up in a discussion for a 2 seed.

I don't think that's unreasonable. They definitely don't deserve to be a #2 if they lose, but if they win, I think they have a resume that should put them in strong consideration of a 2.

Beating Baylor=something Kansas couldn't do 2 days ago. I'm just saying.

I don't see how MU gets a #2 seed either way. If we had beaten A&M Thursday, beat Ok. State yesterday, and then Kansas today we would be a lock. Even so, it will still be real nice if MU wins a Big 12 Championship :)

That should be your MO. Even trying to explain dropdowns and 120Hz to the uniformed.

And I do too.

Along with Duke, OU, KU, Villanova, Wake Forest

The "locks" for a one or two seed so far IMO are UNC, Pitt, Louisville, UCONN, Memphis, and Michigan State.

That leaves two spots for the committee to decide between the other teams. If Duke wins their conf championship, you can cement them in the "lock" group, which would leave only one spot for the other 5 teams.

Baylor won't win. This was their only chance for glory, but they'll fall short. This is their 4th game in four days. They won't have the legs. Ride that train, MU.

Fair enough...I just think MU & KU will both end up with 3 seeds.
MU needs to win the Big 12 Tournament to even be in the talk for a 2 seed. KU is probably already in that discussion.

Please link that thread so everyone can see how thoroughly you got owned.

OU is not in consideration for a 2 whatsoever.

Look at their last 12 games. They finished 2nd in conference, lost to 1 and 3 in the only games they played against them, got bounced in the first round of the tourney on basically a neutral court/home field.

You mean the thread where you proclaimed that 120Hz somehow made pictures better? Or the one where 24 FPS matters when HD doesn't care about that. I really want to know.
