If they get anything out of Chris Williams at LT next year, that is one of the top 3 teams in the NFC.

They just got a franchise QB, a commodity that they haven't had since Sid ****ing Luckman, and he's pretty much a local (Santa Claus, IN), and he's on a very reasonable contract.

Word I've heard is that Chicago is hot and heavy over Orlando Pace, and will move Williams to RT if they sign him.

A drunk diabetic playing behind a suspect line.... the Bears fan in me is not happy.

You should probably stop looking at things in the glass of "OMG he played for Denver he sucks and I hate him"

Buck 04-02-2009 03:34 PM

Chicago is definitely worse weather than Denver.

It should be interesting. They've never really had a gunslinger like Cutler, as far as I can remember.

Shag 04-02-2009 03:34 PM

Talk radio is going to explode up here in Vikings land - the fans here wanted MN to go after him. Childress apparently had no interest, and now he went to a division rival. Should make for some entertaining listening...

Seattle is basically making no noise on their pick, although they are one of the few teams that didn't schedule a private workout with Sanchez.

The Orange Mane has died.

Try Quarterback at all. I think they might be the only franchise that can beat the Chiefs on shitty QB's.

Pretty decent?

They barely missed the playoffs with Kyle ****ing Orton taking snaps.

Orton threw for 3000 yards.

They could make NO changes and win the division.

Miles 04-02-2009 03:36 PM

Going to be strange to see an actual good QB in Chicago after all these years.

And now for more hilarity 810 is talking about how Chicago got ripped and Cutler sucks....and how great the Cassel deal looks now...

Man people are reeruned.

Chris Williams was the most highly regarded pass blocking LT in the entire draft last year. He didn't get to play last year b/c of neck surgery in the PS. He's so much more talented than Tait it's not funny. Kreutz is a perennial PB center, they just signed Kevin Shaffer to hold down the right side, Garza is a good guard, Matt Forte is already a great running back, Hester is your deep threat, and Greg Olsen is a very talented TE.

That team is a #1 WR away from being absolutely lethal.

kcxiv 04-02-2009 03:37 PM

lol Culter doesnt have to worry about playing in the heat.

Red Dawg 04-02-2009 03:38 PM

This is so great! The mange must be melting down!

That Cedric Benson pick was "genious."
