I have no idea why anyone is making a big deal about that. It was one bad call that wasn't even decisive in the game.

No. The league amended the rule after Pollard's perfectly clean hit on Brady. You can basically hit them where the strike zone is for a baseball player. Aside from that, it's a 15 yard flag.
