I'll save my judgement on Clark as history hasn't played out yet. For one I think he has the right idea for the franchise - build through the draft, he just hired the wrong guy. Now it was one hell of a move in football world, but Chiefs weren't the franchise type that Pioli needed to go to IMO.

I hate to disagree, Bro.

But if Lamar really wanted to win, he would have had a larger hand in day-to-day operations.

And he wouldn't have waited 15 years between playoff appearances not once, but twice.

of course it won't end well... it's the Chiefs we're talking about :banghead: .... but I like to be a little optimistic

Lamar cared in the AFL days by the time I was born he didn't, he cared about making money.

Um, just about every defensive coordinator in college and just about every position coach in the NFL.

Due diligence is required, Dumbass. You don't just hire a guy that ****ing sucks ass just because he came from the same organization that you came from.

Oh, and he was FIRED, BTW.

You do realize they tried to hire Romeo Crennel, right?

Basically Pendergast was all they could get.

You know, you're REALLY starting to piss me off. You don't know me, you don't know my contacts, you've NEVER sat in a room with Clark (c)Hunt without the media around, NOR are you in business with Clark (c)Hunt or the (c)Hunt family in ANY capacity.

I've been in the same room as some of the lawyers that help to create the AFL. I've been in the same room as some of the people who have known the (c)Hunt family from the very beginning and even before the AFL.

You're ****ing kid sitting in a goddamm Texas basement that doesn't know jack ****ing shit other than what you read or what you hear from Nick ****ing Cocksucking Athan.

It's a joke.

Just like the Chiefs franchise for the better part of the past 40 YEARS.
Like I said, I'm not going to talk to you about it. You made one statement months ago, then a mountain of evidence to the contrary blows up in your face but you continue to stick to your statement.

It's completely ridiculous. And so is your ad hominem. Send me a PM telling me how you're just kidding around, again.

Because I'm not going to tell you anything about my friends and "sources" on a public forum, especially when I'm talking about some of the most famous names in American sports and the sports conscious.

No, it's not. But that's okay. Keep thinking that we're all not connected, nor that we don't make any money or that no one is successful in life to the point where they have these kind of connections.

And FWIW, when I've given you crap in the past, I've sent you PM's to let you know that I'm teasing. I thought you would appreciate that.

Apparently, I was wrong.

And in THIS case, I'm not joking, teasing or making light of your situation.

Enjoy living in the dark.

At least Lamar wasn't Nelson Baker Hunt. If I believed in Hell, I'd be certain there's a 5* lodge with demons ready to ass**** him with water buffalo cocks for eternity in the 9th circle.

I'll admit I do have a bias toward Lamar and Steadman. My family knew both of them personally and did lots of business with both of them in the late 70's and 80's. Actually they went two or three times a year to the Gold Suite back then. Lamar had a damn loyalty thing that was his major down fall and it bite him in the ass when it came to the football team. It worked good in his other business ventures sans the silver market.

Yeah, you're right.

Instead of 1-3 we're 0-4.

That's change I can believe in!

Would I be happy to see Edwards replaced with a more competent X's and O's gameday coach? Absolutely.

Make no mistake about that.
