Anyone else still battling the bulge? Here, hopefully, you can find more encouragement and tips on diet and exercise. Feel free to talk about discouragements, setbacks, frustrations, etc as well. We're here to help...at least I am.

Good thread Luv.... however, If you would stay away a tad from your Dads you might loose a tad more.;) You have done good, but listen to your heart and you will make it!

I want to get down another 8 pounds. As part of that, I did a 15.5 mile jog today up a smallish mountain. (I'm in Breckenridge with the wife on a business trip.)

I don't usually go on trails by myself, so I brought my cell phone. Along the way, I took some pictures. It's not bad to do a long jog with scenery like this:

(The little rock on the big rock that's a different color was the rock I carried with me in case I got attacked by a mountain lion or something.)

Rain Man is way too ****ing hardcore.

Here's another picture, showing the high-traffic jogging area.

If I jogged 15 miles I'd probably die, I have a bum knee.

Then when you get off the road, there's a bit of a run through the woods. This is where the anti-mountain lion rock really came in handy.

You jogged in the snow, that is crazy.

I can walk, but later on I pay for it...since I started exercising I'm lighter but my knees/legs hurt way more.

I actually feel worse.

We should have a CP run-off in Denver and see if anyone can outlast Rain Man's epic long-distance endurance.

Get some better shoes and some inserts.

You could take a mountain lion with one hand tied behind your back.... We want bear stories. BTW that rock had to be every part of 3 or 4 lbs. Could just be the light and camera angle.
