in the AFC...the Chargers or Colts are locks...

the NFC is trickier this year than any postseason race I can remember since I started following the NFL

Haha...

Dude Manning is going to win it...get over it. He was the MVP.

I think he deserves it as well, but you're setting yourself up for a epic fail.

I can see the voters going Full reerun and going with Favre because of the storylines.

Hootie 01-08-2010 06:06 PM

well I do think Favre is somewhat MVP worthy so it wouldn't that big of an upset...

But I think the voters are smart enough to realize what kind of impact Peyton Manning has on the Colts...

Hell, unless Tom Brady goes all 2007...Manning should probably win every year. If voters want to vote to change things up a little then that is their prerogative.

Rivers is a hell of a QB as well...couldn't go wrong with him as the MVP, either...but he has little to no buzz for some reason. Hell...I even forgot to put him on my 1st list.

I dont see them giving to a QB that threw 16 picks in 14 games and in stretches looked terrible. Rivers should get it over manning if it comes down to it.

I really wanted to put in bets for a Colts/Packers and Chargers/Packers Super Bowl matchups...such great odds and you can hedge your bets to be a winner every round as long as the Packers beat the Cards round 1...I still am in the process of crunching those numbers..

Adrian Peterson didn't have an impact this year?

5th in the league in rushing, 1st in rushing TD's.

They force fed him the ball, but he did not have an impact to the extent of his previous 2 years.

Besides he was behind MJD at 6th in rushing. Most of those TD's he was given at the 1 or 2 yard line after Favre had driven them downfield.

Rivers has zero Buzz-i have not heard of anyone even mentioning him. But mangina gets all the buzz because of his commercials and how much money he brings into the NFl. He should not have won the SB MVP in my opinion either.

I can remember ONE game where Peyton Manning looked "terrible"...I watched nearly every Colts game...can you name that ONE game?

Halfcan 01-08-2010 06:10 PM

Matt Schaub had a better year than manning as well.

where did 1500 come from?

Hootie 01-08-2010 06:11 PM

Well I'll spill it...

He was GOD AWFUL in the 2nd half against Denver...was making throws that made me wonder if I was watching Peyton Manning...

But of course as soon as they needed him to ice the game he had his signature Peyton Manning drive in the 4th quarter to put the game away...

That's the only time this year where he had a "terrible" stretch...one quarter of one game.

Matt Cassel had like 4 picks through the first 6 games or so...INT's don't always paint the whole picture.

I'd be curious to hear a response to this question as well.
