in the AFC...the Chargers or Colts are locks...
the NFC is trickier this year than any postseason race I can remember since I started following the NFL |

I can see the voters going Full reerun and going with Favre because of the storylines. |
well I do think Favre is somewhat MVP worthy so it wouldn't that big of an upset...
But I think the voters are smart enough to realize what kind of impact Peyton Manning has on the Colts... Hell, unless Tom Brady goes all 2007...Manning should probably win every year. If voters want to vote to change things up a little then that is their prerogative. Rivers is a hell of a QB as well...couldn't go wrong with him as the MVP, either...but he has little to no buzz for some reason. Hell...I even forgot to put him on my 1st list. |

I really wanted to put in bets for a Colts/Packers and Chargers/Packers Super Bowl matchups...such great odds and you can hedge your bets to be a winner every round as long as the Packers beat the Cards round 1...I still am in the process of crunching those numbers..

Besides he was behind MJD at 6th in rushing. Most of those TD's he was given at the 1 or 2 yard line after Favre had driven them downfield. |

Matt Schaub had a better year than manning as well.

Well I'll spill it...
He was GOD AWFUL in the 2nd half against Denver...was making throws that made me wonder if I was watching Peyton Manning... But of course as soon as they needed him to ice the game he had his signature Peyton Manning drive in the 4th quarter to put the game away... That's the only time this year where he had a "terrible" stretch...one quarter of one game. Matt Cassel had like 4 picks through the first 6 games or so...INT's don't always paint the whole picture. |
