I'm beginning to suspect the Hunts of being cheap. With the limited number of draft choices that every team has Free Agency seems to be a great strategy to fill up some holes with stud players. Especially with the money the Chiefs have and have not spent. It's frustrating, but maybe CP and now Pioli haven't have that much freedom from the owners to spend money on good players. But let's see what happens in the next few days. So far two of my favorite FAs (Peppers and Chester Taylor) have been gobbled up by one team. Though I'm not sure how much Peppers could have successfully converted into a 3-4 LB.

Hunt had to put money into the stadium, it appears to be pretty blatant that he decided that money comes out of the player budget.

you guys know what other teams dont sign a lot of free agents?

Also Baltimore has never been shy about making a move, they made one today.

I'd be fine with ignoring FA if we drafted like those teams.

We don't.

The only team up there that gaffed in the draft as bad as we did was Arizona's Levi Brown pick.
