(and if they were feeling nice, they'd take our #5 AND Cassel for Big Ben)

They do.

And so does Michigan.

Which just happens to be the team I follow.

Looking back at the "long, storied history" doesn't make the last decade go away.

And I'm a Chiefs fan. Misery.

"There's always next year".

Michigan, Chiefs, Royals, MSU Bobcats, NY Rangers. I seem to cuss a lot lately.:grr:

Better call the Raiders, nobody else is that stupid.

Fully agree here. I'm sure he's just one ****up away from being gone for a looooooooong time....and if he did push his penis on one more woman, guess who looks ****ing stupid in that trade?

The Rams and Bills have reportedly told the Steelers that they are not interested in trading for suspended QB Ben Roethlisberger.
St. Louis and Buffalo are among seven teams the Steelers have contacted about a possible trade. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the others are: San Francisco, Jacksonville, Oakland, Seattle, and Cleveland. Pittsburgh appears to be fully open to moving Roethlisberger for a top-13 draft selection.

Pfft! Just like Jared caught in the bar again. I'm sure the NFL will be talking to him soon. What makes you think Ben won't do it again?

and i can't believe i'm saying this based on how bad we need a QB, but i personally wouldn't trade for him....i'm not making a rapist the face of my franchise....

i didn't like lj for the way he treated women, this is a whole other degree of wrongness

That's exactly how I feel about it.

In a bubble, with no prior sexual assault issues. I'd make this trade in a heartbeat. Of course, if he wasn't "damaged goods", Pissburgh wouldn't be fielding offers.

Holy shit.....Roethlisberger in San Francisco? They could trade for him and STILL have a 1st round pick.

With weapons like Vernon Davis, Frank Gore and Michael Crabtree in San Francisco, a very strong defense AND a first round pick left over, I think that would be a pretty solid move for the Niners.

No

Big Ben is truly better than Cassel. That said, he has concussion issues to go along with his off field problems.

They say that concussion problems are cumulative.... so, the next one will happen even easier, then easier, then easier. He holds the ball for a long time. Yes, he can extend the play, but takes a lot of hits. Wouldn't surprise me if he is out of the league in the next five years.

Heck, if a woman were smart, she would hit him over the head the next time he whips it out... and I mean the one on his shoulders.

Maybe. But, no chargers, no complaints, no drinking.... I don't know that he will get talked to.

I see a draft day trade with the Raiders happening. Big, strong armed QB is exactly what Al Davis wants and i think he'd trade that number 8 overall to get it.

And Alex Smith could take him to firesides and family home evenings and have him meet with the relief society ladies. Ben needs a bit of churching up.

Either that, or he just heads 'round the bend and ends up raping queens in all the bundle of sticks bars.

According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, the Raiders are in contact with the Steelers about a trade for Ben Roethlisberger.
La Canfora says Oakland "might be (the) only real option" for Pittsburgh if the Steelers are truly prepared to wash their hands of the 28-year-old QB. The Raiders, smartly (for once), appear to have realized that JaMarcus Russell is a bust, and very arguably the biggest in NFL history. The Steelers might ask for Nnamdi Asomugha in addition to Oakland's No. 8 overall pick.
