I'm not nervous about that at all. They're not handing the ball to him in preseason much at all. He's mostly getting passes that will go to Charles in real games.

Who is telling you not to get excited. Just saying we can point out his mistakes without it meaning he isn't the future of the team. I am damn excited about what I have seen. For a guy using Cody Slate as his #1 target, playing behind a 3rd string oline against mostly 2nd teamers, and having almost zero offseason, he has looked great.

Not saying don't get excited, just saying I think only talking about the positives and only talking about the others negatives almost does a disservice to Stanzi then if you compared them fairly on equal ground.

I'll be even more upset if it starts with no-calls on Bowe getting PI'd.

Hali's getting the benefit of the doubt more this season.

I think he's generated 2 holding calls already this year. I really don't expect to see him get the same treatment he got last year.

Bowe, OTOH, appears to have a little more to prove before he gets that call. We'll see if it changes as the season goes forward. I think it has as much to do with Cassel as anything; the Chiefs passing game just isn't respected or feared by the league. I think it carries over to the officials.

For a guy playing in his 3rd pro game I'm incredibly impressed with that play.
