For the record, Crennel is my coach of choice. He has been around the league and he knows what a shitty situation (Cleveland) looks like...and this isn't it. The defensive players rave about him and they seem to always play hard.
In the NFL, consistency wins. Crennel is a way to stay consistent from a scheme standpoint and he brings instant credibility to the team. If they want McD as an O-Coordinator than so be it....but Crennel has seen it and done it. Posted via Mobile Device |

So are Dom Capers, the living legend in Pitt, and any number of others. I'm happy with Romeo as a short-term-fill-in. He's a career coordinator. A damned good one, but it is what it is... |

I guess Scott hasn't trained him just yet. ;) He's not my first choice but if that D-bag Scott Pioli is persistent in hiring one of his old buddies, I'd prefer it be Romeo. And keep McD away from KC as much as possible. No as the HC. No as a OC. |
Crennel had as much to do with all the blowouts as everyone else.
IMO, he has coached about 4 good games this season....no mistake those are the games he decided to turn the heat up a couple notches. ... Romeo will be the HC Pleasant will be promoted to DC Zorn will get promoted to OC Sirianni will be promoted to QB coach Orton will be re-signed We won't draft a quarterback until the third day The fan base will continue to distance itself from the team. |
