At least we know he has paid attention to Chiefs football over the years.

You get in the playoffs, and 11 of the 12 teams are going to pick up a loss. That's true whether we're talking about Fisher, Billick, any of these guys who have coached any length of time. You take away the Titans Super Bowl run, Fisher's playoff record doesn't look so good. You take away Billick's Super Bowl year, his record isn't good. You take away Shanahan's two great years with Elway and his record is terrible. None of these guys are close to Marty's 5-13 playoff record though.

But that's how it is, this places makes so many excuses for winning sometimes, it's a joke. The majority of coaches who have had success the last 15 years got lucky. Fisher, Dungy, Cowher, Billick. Whether it was a miracle play, lucking into a 6th round QB, etc, etc. Although that's probably true to a point, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Yep.

Fisher in SD scares me. His teams are always tough and nasty. That has been SD's main problem under Norv.

Tough and nasty defense + Rivers = problems for KC.

Who cares?

If you can't compete with opponents within your division, then you have no business playing in the post season.

Thats why the Raven & Steelers take turns going to the playoffs

I think that speaks more to the importance of having a quality qb vs Fisher's abilities as hc.

fisher is smarter than i thought

His record vs. the afc west is pretty humorous.

All the Fisher slamming and Romeo support is quite comical.

You'd think Romeo had been to the playoffs or something.

Pretty homerish.

Thank God.

I don't really necessarily care about who we hire as our head coach. I care about who's going to be our QB of now and the future. Players make coaches, not the other way around.

I agree to the point that Phillip Rivers takes exception to this.

While I do hate Norv, his "talent" is overrated. And Rivers has played like shit this year until as of late.

I think the point is, they have had a franchise QB for years and Norv has ****ed it up.

I heard today he may save his job, I certainly hope so.
