I know that when I think of teams that have no talent and just suck, the Patriots are usually the first to come to mind. They lost the Super Bowl by 4. I don't know why they even bothered to show up.

Coughlin coached a team that went 14-2 during the regular season only to lose to the same team a 3rd time in the playoffs.

He also coached a team that beat an Elway lead Denver team at Denver in the playoffs.


Coughlin is an excellent coach.

Criticism is often simply how humans express jealousy.

While not always the case, any chiefs fan who isn't jealous of the patriots success is a reerun.

Just give us Brady and/or Belicheck and i'll take my jealous chances.

The planet that says "you're an embarrassment to your hometown if you let a 9-7 team upset you in the Superbowl." Also, how do you explain them also losing to the Giants in Superbowl 42 not being a fail since the Pats had a flawless regular season that same year? I am convinced the Patriots will not win another Superbowl unless they play any NFC team other than the Giants. I'd be happy if neither they, nor the Steelers returned to the SB for a long time for that matter. The Patriots and the Steelers have been to the SB 8 times collectively since 2001.

I think he's the only guy who has over 100K posts who changes his name monthly. If you're still confused, he's the only guy with a 100+K post count with such a high percentage of posts being stunningly dumb (see this thread, f'rinstance).

And, of course, he's the only guy with 100+K posts with a negative rep position, though I think some mod locked him at negative eleventy billion, so you can't hold that against him (but it helps identify him).

Ok, yawn, so that Patriots the Super Bowl. They were 15-4. Brady is coming back. A young defense will improve next year. They have 4 picks in the first two rounds. The Patriots as Super Bowl contender are not going away.

They also have Ryan Mallet who very well could end up being the steal of the 2011 draft? I'd like to see what BB can do with Ryan Mallet, but (not at Chiefs expense to the road of Super Bowl mind you) Ryan Mallet had his off the field issues that brought up red flags but BB got him anyways and that begs to question what kind of success they can have with him & not Tom Brady. That's kind of scary to think about if BB got the guy he thinks he got.
