He'll come cheaper than Tolbert/Bush... meaning there's a 100% possibility he's a Chief.

Why do we hate this?

Hillis is a perfect complementary back for Charles, IMO.

And if Charles isn't effective or re-injures the leg and we have to depend on a head case to carry the team?

No thanx...

Just exactly how many NFL players aren't right on the edge of completely insane?

Prior to last season he was seen as a model player and teammate. Last year he had some issues.

I'm not going to write him off as an individual. The atmosphere got toxic and he checked out; it happens. Again, his OC, the guy that may well have gotten fired because of the temper tantrum, is evidently interested in having him back. He's going to have more insight into his personality than we will.

Who wouldn't have given their right ball to have that guy as a #2 back prior to last season? His outburst gives us an opportunity to acquire him that we wouldn't have otherwise had. Rather than run from it, why not embrace it?

Worst case scenario - we cut his ass.

The one year Daboll coached him, he had 1654 yards from scrimmage and 13 tds.

If I interpret what you're saying correctly, you're saying:

BRING HIM IN FOR A LOOK?

O.city 03-13-2012 07:34 PM

DJ, would you sign him or Tolbert?

and if you get one, would you be ok grabbing Lamar Miller in the draft?

the Talking Can 03-13-2012 07:35 PM

i like how we're recycling trash from failed Cleveland teams and passing it off as 'our future'....

Pioli must be a wizard to trot out Crennel, Daboll, and hillis as bold moves to improve the chiefs...fml

(oh yeah and cassel)

I know I'm not dj but I like tolbert over hillis. Versatility and seems like a team first guy.
