All my dentist gave me after I had 2 of my wisdom teeth pulled was Acetaminophen. :banghead:

Hey addiction. nlm nlm nlm
4 days clean. I think I've got this thing beat. I realize I'm going to have to be careful from here on out, but lord I feel good right now. Withdrawal effects have subsided substantially. No more cravings. Plus I disposed of the pills I had left. I feel great knowing I had the power to overcome this. |

And I want you to know I'm not saying this to be a d!ck - I just want you to be prepared. The days will stretch on forever. Time seems to slow. After a clean work week you'll feel like you've won a battle and week after week you'll feel like you have to battle just to make it through a work week. At some point you'll ask yourself "how is there this much time in a day? I don't ever remember the days being so long! Just what the **** am I going to do with all this time!?!" And about then is when you realize just what you've been filling all your time with. And how selfish that really is... |

One day at a time. Don't worry long term. Just focus on getting though the current craving (if craving is the right word). ;) |

Good luck dude. I had my wisdom teeth out about a month ago, and only took hydrocodone for about 3-4 days. Coming off that crap was just aweful, and never again will I ever think any less of someone who finds themselves addicted to it. Hydrocodone is one evil beyotch.

3-4 days huh? I'm surprised you had any withdraw effects at all. Thanks for the well wishes. Today is day 5 of being clean. I've got it whipped at this point.
