http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft/...module=HP11_cp Jacksonville's draft was pretty much destroyed every where else, except on the NFL Network. The selection of a punter in the third round was destroyed as well: http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/po...in-third-round |
Usually former players tend to stick up for teams they played for. It seems though that Jaws likes to throw the Chiefs under the bus a little too much. I have noticed he does that for a long time. Seemed like he enjoyed to take jabs at Marty and Chiefs in general even when we were competitive. Shame.
Anyone with an interest in the Chiefs understands we are drafting very well and getting a very competitive roster. Even with missing at QB, his ceiling could very well be an Alex Smith- 49er type season, which is still better than most teams. |

Even Lombardi, who last year said he was looking forward to watching the Chiefs come back to reality in 2011 after '10. Yesterday said, I expect them to make the playoffs this coming season. It kinda sucked cause I liked listening to Polian, but NFLN was doing a much better job of actually covering the picks (especially in the later rounds) and showing highlights right after the player was taken. :thumb: |
NFL Network also was saying we are easily a playoff team this year

It's hard for most people to see the big picture when it comes to the draft and building a football team in general. They want to see all starters taken.
Well, besides the NT position, the Chiefs front office doesn't really feel they need to replace any starters so they went for depth. I think some of us knew that going in and some just weren't happy with the particular choice of player and that's kool, cause everyone has a right to their opinion. But to not get the big picture and just think we should be drafting starters in every round is ludicrous. We are not acquiring talent, we are building a team. -Bill Belichik |
