I'm sure the Celtics felt the same way. Not saying it's the same between Howard and Allen, but Howards' heart appears to be in Brooklyn with DWill.

let's say he decides to test free agency after next season, where is he gonna go? he can't sign with Brooklyn that's done. Houston? Atlanta? forget the money, are there any options better than just staying with the Lakers?

With Howard it is always about the money. And why couldn't Brooklyn sign him as a FA?

not really. with the moves they made this off season the only thing they could do is a sign and trade and Howard will be a FA. impossible
