So dumb.

Falcons are going to dump their top 10 QB because they have that backup plan in place thats going to be better.

You're a ****ing moron.

There are many people in the league questioning whether or not Atlanta will opt to pay Matt Ryan $15 million per season, especially considering he's won just one playoff game in 5 years.

Try to keep up, Dumbass.

They have literally drafted 1 skill position player to go with him in 5 years in the first three rounds.

Because they traded away two of their first round picks!

LMAO

Right, because you're a ****ing genius.

LMAO

You're a ****ing dumbass, Dumbass. You have no idea what Atlanta will or won't do after the 2013 season. And if they bomb in the playoffs, again, why pay Matt Ryan $15 million a year to put up guady numbers but no playoff wins?

Saul Good 03-11-2013 05:39 PM

Since the 2008 draft, Atlanta has drafted Julio Jones and Kerry Meier at WR. They have drafted no tight ends. Meier was a late fifth rounder.

The Falcons will pay Ryan what he wants. Arthur Blank is no stranger to paying big money to keep his QB in town and I can't see the GM wanting to part ways with his QB and first pick.

They have had four first round selections since then.

jd1020 03-11-2013 05:40 PM

There are already reports of the Falcons working on extending him but big bad dumbass DaneMcCloud thinks hes an average QB so its a 50/50 chance he wont be in Atlanta next year.

So almost as many playoff games as manning won in his first five years.

Saul Good 03-11-2013 05:42 PM

Ryan was drafted in 2008. Here are the picks they made in 2009:

1 DT
2. S
3. CB
4. DE
5. C
5. LT
6. LB
7. DT

Saul Good 03-11-2013 05:45 PM

2010 picks

1. LB
2. DT
3. G
4. G
5. CB
5. WR
6. S

Man, they really blew an egregious number of picks on offense, didn't they, Dane?

Because they traded back into the first round for Baker, while giving up a bunch of second and fourth round picks.

The bottom line is that no one can say that Miami would have been better off with Matt Ryan over Jake Long in Miami. Atlanta has gone above and beyond to surround him with talent and they still haven't broken through.

You're really missing the point, but that IS your specialty.

Yeah. They were only able to draft 11 players that year including two first rounders, a second rounder, and three third rounders.
