When the Chiefs bottomed out this year, my single biggest hope was that we could come away with Alex Smith and Chase Daniel.

Chase Daniel signing isn't bad, but its the move you make if you draft a guy at #1 not trading for a scrub like Alex Smith.

I like this move as a back up QB. People can hate on Chase all they want but he was a winner and a gamer at Mizzou. He rubbed a lot of people the wrong way but I like a QB to be a bit cocky. He can sling the ball pretty well and has been learning from Brees which is not a bad thing.
