Not really. That's what I meant by it being a widely held rumor. It's not attributable to one source, but I've heard it multiple places/times.

That's not what I meant, there's really no nice way to say it so I just said it. It disturbs me how many of them have disabled children. What are these athletes doing that's making that happen? Freaky sex? Steroids? Them guys are doing something, that's not normal.

I wasn't advocating it, but people get divorced over much less. I have a brother in law who chose his motocross obsession over his marriage.

There's that one old joke:

Exactly. its not something you are going to read or hear on TMZ, but it is widely known throughout the sports world. I work with ESPN and FOX Sports here in Vegas, come across a lot of people in sports journalism, athletes and other sports radio personalities. Its been talked about in the hallways on a few occassion. Its talked about like 'So what..." because its old news in the sports community.
