I bet Dressler doesn't make the team.

Right now Hammond, Wilson and even Harrison before his injury were out playing him. That's not counting Jenkins and Kyle Williams. I think there will truly be more guys they will want to keep than they will have roster spots for.

I seriously doubt it.

That receiving corps is absolute dog shit. Jenkins and Kyle Williams? Are you ****ing serious? At least Dressler can catch a ball. And ****ing Hammond? Who the **** is Hammond? The guy who couldn't get off the practice squad last year despite the dog shit we had at the wideout position?

Dorsey should have his finger nails torn out for not addressing the WR position in a draft that was absolutely loaded with 6'2", 215 lb.+ guys who were running 4.4's with good hands. It was a freak draft for WR's and the guy doesn't touch one. I mean, I respect a guy who sticks to his board, but you got to address a position that must be addressed at some point. That's ****ing nuts not to, especially when you see the immense amount of talent at the position through the entire draft.

And he's Kendrick Lewis's back up.

Why do you think Dorsey hasn't done enough? Because he didn't sign or draft a name you recognized? The season hasn't even started. There are a lot of other factors besides names written on a roster. I'm sick of hearing about how the draft sucked and the free agents suck. We haven't seen shit yet. I guess I don't by into the "looks good/bad on paper" bull crap. I've seen that back fire to many times.

We still have our core group and most of the good depth we had last year. If they can keep the chemistry going that they had last year that will be the biggest factor. I expect them to learn from the second half of last season. This is the first time in years we are going into two consecutive seasons with the same coach, offensive coordinator and quarterback.

There is a lot more pieces to this puzzle than the paper roster.

agreed

we coasted this offseason like we had just won a super bowl and have extra talent to burn. Either that or we had a successful PR rebound season last year so now we can start our 5 year rebuild plan.

There isn't any reason you can't have the continuity you suggest AND ADD talent. Not only did we not add talent, we didn't replace the talent we lost.

If we make the playoffs then Andy Reid will clearly deserve coach of the year.

So you want Chad Hall back on the team?

Because that's exactly what you'll get if the Chiefs keep Weston Dressler.

Harrison is 6'3" 230 and runs a 4.3-4.4.... He is already better than little Dressler.

If Baldwin could run a 4.3, he'd still be here.

Hell, if Baldwin could run a 4.65 he MIGHT still be here.

You know how they say guys play faster than their 40 times (Jerry Rice being the prime example with his 4.7 coming out of MVS)? Baldwin played slower than his 40 time at the combine. Much, much slower.

Plus, that's the problem with falling in love with a guy's measurable numbers at the combine.
