Surely there are other "virile and successful" men in this town that ARENT athletes. But, pro athletes are her thing. She's a jersey chaser plain and simple. I'm not really holding that against her, you are attracted to what you're attracted to. But she IS a jersey chaser.

I don't know if its a sports thing....but it seems like people in the public eye like dating other people in the public eye.

I don't find it odd, at all. To use an old saying "Water finds its own level".

She clearly understands what it's like to be in a relationship with an athlete and enjoys it. In this case, Hosmer's out of town a minimum of 80 nights a year, not including Spring Training. Not all women, nor people in general, can handle that type of relationship. Sure, women will say they can handle it but when their SO is gone for weeks on end, the reality is often very different, especially with the temptation the road provides these guys.

And I disagree that she's a "jersey chaser" because clearly, it works both ways.
