KC lacks hotel rooms (which I am surprised) and really lacks taxi service.

It lacks NFL quality hotel rooms.

I'm guessing they'd put one team at the InterContinental and one at the Westin. No idea what they would do with league personnel, sponsors, etc.

I also have no idea where teams would practice. Can't imagine the league would have them both practice at the Chiefs indoor facility.

Add to all this - the stadium is in the middle of nowhere and there is ****all to do in Downtown KC - along with the weather, and you'll never see one here.

That rings a bell but I can't remember the details. Party busses from Topeka to KC might be fun....

Probably.

When the Rams played the Patriots in New Orleans, there were people staying on the other side of the causeway. And NO has a ****ton of rooms.

Because **** a London team, talk about a homefield advantage.

Monetary. I understand the logic behind it and why they are doing it. It sucks for us, but eh, I'm not going to spend much energy being mad at good business decisions.

No, its not class envy or a "bring down the man" thing, I don't need their money and am happy to earn my own money, it gives me a strong sense of self worth to do so... its just more of an individual condemnation of those ultra greedy that have all they ever wanted and then some, but even that's just not enough.

I'm telling you, it sounds like a disease.

Playing in London, and even the thought of a franchise in London, is illogical. The travel implications are severe. I could understand somewhere in Canada, but Britain is a little much. It's the stupidest thing the NFL has done.

The point of London game was to make Clark more money.

That's pretty much it.

The veteran combine? Why would that bother anyone?

Oh, I figured you'd come to the NFL's rescue yet again. When the integrity of the game is severely compromised solely to make the NFL an extra buck, it's the wrong decision... period. All of those things I mentioned fall into that category (the veteran combine was brought up just because it was an outright disaster, which is hilarious).

You can only hope the game doesn't bottom out the way baseball did, when they basically allowed steroid use to boost home runs and increase ratings, only to lead to the balloon completely popping. Football may be reaching a bigger mass audience, but every day it seems to lose just a little more integrity.

They claim they're losing money by playing in it.

Thats a fair point I suppose, just really hate the idea that absolutely dominating the American sports market isnt enough for them... if they just HAVE to have more money, ring up two more expansion franchises here.

Leave the Rams where they are, give LA and, say, Charlotte NC expansion teams.

They could share the Carolina Panthers stadium. Yes, huge demand for another team in Charlotte, NC. Are you a soccer fan?
