That's the core problem. We need better QB play. But there are maybe 5-7 QBs in NFL history that can make the current team a legit contender. Even then, the jump from legit contender to SB participant or even champion is a roll of the dice.

Plenty of qbs could have made last year's team a contender. And while the defense has been bad this year, they've been good enough for a top 10 QB to win games.
Fixing the QB solves a shitload of problems. It makes receivers better. It opens up the running game. It lets the defense off the field when your offense isn't constantly going three and out. And a true QB can read the blitzBlitz, adjust the protections, and get rid of the ball quickly to improve the ol. Not to mention a defense can play better when the opponent is pressing to score.
Do we really have that many issues? I'd say consistently strong defensive and offensive playcalling with a new QB fixes a shitload of our problems.
