That was clear back in 2011, you know back when Andy Reid was. . . . 1-5?!?!

That's the core problem. We need better QB play. But there are maybe 5-7 QBs in NFL history that can make the current team a legit contender. Even then, the jump from legit contender to SB participant or even champion is a roll of the dice.

We have many holes and everyone is obsessed with filling one.

Plenty of qbs could have made last year's team a contender. And while the defense has been bad this year, they've been good enough for a top 10 QB to win games.

Fixing the QB solves a shitload of problems. It makes receivers better. It opens up the running game. It lets the defense off the field when your offense isn't constantly going three and out. And a true QB can read the blitzBlitz, adjust the protections, and get rid of the ball quickly to improve the ol. Not to mention a defense can play better when the opponent is pressing to score.

Do we really have that many issues? I'd say consistently strong defensive and offensive playcalling with a new QB fixes a shitload of our problems.

take the cap hit, cut/don't re-sign the veterans and let the young guys play next year.

need a full rebuild anyway.

I'll lose nothing. The Chiefs are nothing and have been nothing for years. Telling this team to go **** itself for eternity is BEYOND an easy feat.

This is the last chance.

Going 1/3 for first round draft picks is a big problem.
