What would a KC fan know about drafting and developing a QB that will replace a SB winning HoF QB? Nutten.

The Broncos have never drafted and developed a franchise QB

I think Jerry eats the money rather than paying $24m for a backup. Plus, this gives Romo the opportunity to play for another team. If Jerra is serious about doing what is best for his team and Romo, he either trades or releases Romo.

I guess I view it differently... he eats 24M by keeping him or 19M by dropping him. Savings of $5M, at least half of that goes to #2 QB insurance. So, is going from a Romo to a "Pick a spare Journeyman" worth $2M?

Romo will sign with them. Mark it down.

No, but you watched Griese win some games... Tebow won a playoff game. Siemien is 7-2. So, they've had some good success with their drafted QBs. KC, meanwhile, hasn't won an NFL game with a QB they drafted since 1983.

Crazy.

Elway might as well have been drafted by the Broncos. Sure, the Broncos traded Hinton (who's on the HoF candidates list) for him, but you gotta give something to get something in a trade. Elway played his entire career with the Broncos

You really want Romo around for another year? Sure, he's a team guy now but if Jerra is too stupid to trade or release Romo you better believe it could become a locker room distraction next season.

Especially when Dak inevitably has a bad string of games, which happens to every QB in the NFL.
