Unless they changed it, a team declining a contract option on a player hasn't been considered a cut/release of that player in terms of compensatory picks. So if the Chiefs decline Foles' option, he should net them a pick. At least in theory. As with any discussion of comp picks, it all depends on other signings.

This draft is so deep. I have about 70 guys worthy of a top 50 spot. The 2nd/3rd round is going to produce a lot of future pro bowlers. Welp. Dorsey might not move that 3rd rd comp.. |
