So Peters says he had no issues with Reid and that they were close....so where is this locker room cancer talk coming from?...that Reid couldn't reach him? Is this the narrative the NFL/CHunt are selling through their mouthpieces?
The more that comes out..it appears like I initially thought. Clark wanted him off the team...he didn't like the fake optics of a player sitting during the anthem. He wants a wholesome, conservative image for his corporation. This also seems to be a one team trade from the get go...if he didn't have issues with Andy, then there is no legitimate reason for EVERY team to blackball him. Finding out the Chunt is part of a committee that oversees the success of a NFL franchise in LA...and their refusal to announce the details of the compensation says he just did the NFL a solid...essentially gave away a franchise CB. They need LA to succeed.. a lot is on line. There is 3 billion reasons why they just landed Peters for pennies on the dollar. This is what happens when all 32 teams share advertising revenue equally...there is no real incentive for your personal team to win. CHunt/everyone else makes more money if the Rams are successful...20 million people to sell crap to. Welcome the the 2018 NFL...it's not your father's game anymore. |

Shutdown corners grow on trees. Should be easy to replace.

I think it will be very important to see how Berry and Houston are reacting to this.

I think the Chiefs are being really selective in their outrage in this situation, which is what makes it bullshit. Hunt was fine in signing off on drafting him after his antics in college. Hunt was fine in signing off on drafting Hill. Hunt was fine in signing off on drafting and extending Kelce. Peters was moved because of his politics. I said it three days ago, and it's no less true now. And that's not a value judgment, either. |
